Preparation overview
One place to learn, practise and test
Your JEE Main score decides admission to NITs, IIITs and other institutes through JoSAA, and whether you are among the top 2,50,000 candidates who can sit JEE (Advanced) for the IITs. Alfa Smart keeps the three things that move that score in one place: understanding each chapter, practising questions on it, and testing yourself under exam timing.
Syllabus mapped to chapters
Each subject is mapped to Class 11 and 12 chapters, with lessons, key points and worked examples, so you always know what to study next.
Result analysis after every mock
See your score, time taken, accuracy in each subject and how you did on easy, medium and hard questions, with the subjects to revise first.
Exam-style test screen
A countdown timer, a question palette, mark-for-review and automatic submission when time runs out help you practise exam timing.

Mock test result analysis
Every submitted mock test gives you a breakdown you can act on: score and time taken, accuracy in each subject, how you did on easy, medium and hard questions, and which subjects to revise first. We do not predict percentiles or ranks — NTA works out percentiles separately for each shift from everyone who sat it.
Subject-wise accuracy
Correct answers out of total for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, weakest first.
Performance by difficulty
How you did on easy, medium and hard questions.
What to revise next
Subjects below the accuracy mark are flagged for priority revision.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
What does Alfa Smart offer for JEE Main preparation?
The JEE section has chapter-wise practice for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with instant answers and explanations, previous year questions you can filter by year, timed mock tests with result analysis, and Gita AI for doubts. You can also join live classes run by teachers.
Are the mock tests in the JEE Main pattern?
Our full-length JEE mock tests use JEE Main marking (+4 for a correct answer, −1 for a wrong one) and an exam-style screen with a timer, question palette, mark-for-review and auto-submit. Mock test questions are currently multiple-choice, so also practise numerical value questions from NTA's past papers.
Can I practise JEE Main previous year questions?
Yes. The JEE section has a previous year questions mode where you can filter questions by year and check the answer, with an explanation where available. NTA also publishes past question papers on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
How does Gita AI help in JEE preparation?
Open Ask Gita in the exam section and type your doubt — a concept, a formula or a step in a solution — and Gita AI explains it step by step. Free accounts include a limited number of AI doubt chats, and Premium includes a daily allowance.
What is free and what needs Premium?
You can create a free account and open the exam section straight away. Some subjects, practice sets and mock tests are Premium; the app marks these with a lock and an upgrade option. Current prices are on the subscription plans page.
Does Alfa Smart predict my JEE Main percentile or rank?
No. NTA calculates percentiles separately for each shift from the scores of everyone who sat it, so a mock test cannot predict your exact percentile or rank. Our result analysis focuses on what you can change: accuracy by subject and difficulty, and time.
When is JEE Main 2027?
NTA's examination calendar of 16 September 2026 gives tentative Session 1 dates of 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30 January 2027, with 31 January as a buffer day. Session 2 dates have not been announced yet; in 2026, Session 2 was held on 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8 April. Confirm the final dates on jeemain.nta.nic.in when the 2027 bulletin is released.
