Teachers Code of Conduct

Last Updated: June 22, 2026

At Alfa Smart Learning, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, engaging, and high-quality learning environment. This Teachers Code of Conduct establishes the professional standards, behaviors, and ethical rules that all registered instructors must uphold while interacting on our platform.

1. Professional Conduct

Teachers must maintain professional ethics, values, and pedagogical standards in all interactions.

  • Uphold educational integrity by delivering factually accurate, structured, and syllabus-compliant lessons.
  • Use appropriate, respectful, and professional language with students, parents, and platform staff.
  • Act as positive role models, promoting values of intellectual curiosity, truthfulness, and hard work.

2. Qualification & Profile Accuracy

Trust is key to our educational community. Teachers must ensure their profile information is complete and genuine.

  • Provide 100% accurate information regarding academic degrees, credentials, teaching certifications, and experiences.
  • Never impersonate other educators or allow unauthorized third parties to conduct classes under their registered account.
  • Promptly update their profile if there are changes to their qualifications or teaching status.

3. Child Safety Requirements

Important Note on Minors (Students under 18): Instructors occupy a position of trust. Safeguarding child safety online is our highest priority.

  • No Private Communications: Do not contact minor students through personal channels (WhatsApp, personal email, social media) or outside the official platform.
  • No Inappropriate Material: Ensure zero exposure to explicit, suggestive, or age-inappropriate content.
  • Duty to Report: Immediately report any suspected abuse, exploitation, harassment, or self-harm concerns involving minor students to the platform admin.

4. Classroom Conduct

Classrooms must remain inclusive, healthy, and focused on learning.

  • Inclusivity: Maintain strict non-discrimination based on gender, race, religion, caste, language, or ability.
  • Classroom Decorum: Manage student interactions constructively. Sarcasm, bullying, shouting, or emotional abuse towards students is prohibited.
  • Engagement: Deliver active, interactive, and engaging lessons, helping students with doubts and queries patiently.

5. Privacy & Confidentiality

Teachers must protect sensitive platform and student data.

  • Keep student grades, personal information, contact numbers, and feedback strictly confidential.
  • Never share screen recordings, classroom lists, photos, or student submissions on personal blogs, social media, or other websites.
  • Uphold the security of credentials; do not share your tutor login credentials with others.

6. Payments & Platform Integrity

Teachers must act in good faith regarding billing and platform systems.

  • No Disintermediation: Do not solicit, encourage, or accept direct payments from students or parents outside the Alfa Smart Learning gateway.
  • Ethical Billing: Report completed hours, doubt sessions, and subscription classes truthfully.
  • Never attempt to bypass security, access codes, premium gateways, or referral program boundaries.

7. Attendance & Commitment

Consistency and punctuality are key components of educational progress.

  • Start and end all scheduled live classes strictly on time.
  • Provide at least 24 hours of advance notice for any unavoidable class reschedules or cancellations.
  • Commit to complete courses/subjects once assigned, avoiding sudden dropouts that disrupt a student's learning progress.

8. Marketing & Claims

Teachers must represent their achievements and platform relationships honestly.

  • Do not make exaggerated, false, or misleading claims regarding guaranteed marks, ranks, or job placements.
  • Represent affiliation with Alfa Smart Learning professionally and do not make unauthorized statements on behalf of the company.
  • Do not post unverified promotional links, self-marketing sites, or third-party ads during platform lectures.

9. Recording & Monitoring

To ensure safety and quality control, all interactions on the platform may be recorded.

  • Acknowledge and agree that live classroom sessions, chat messages, and shared files are recorded and monitored by the administration.
  • Use the platform camera and audio systems solely for official lecturing purposes.
  • Allow system audits of doubt resolution response times and content reviews.

10. Enforcement

Violations of this Code of Conduct will be reviewed thoroughly by our Ethics & Compliance Committee.

Consequences for violations include but are not limited to: formal warnings, suspension from live teaching, permanent account termination, withholding of payouts (for fee diversion), and reporting to law enforcement in cases of child safety violations.
